Maanpetturi (Traitor) is a political rap song.
It is performed by artists Steen1 and Julma Henri, over the beat by Loasteeze. The song is dedicated to the Finnish right-wing government, and especially to the prime minister and finance minister of this very administration. It is the first rap track Steen1 has performed under the name Steen1 in over a decade. The message, as rough as the delivery may be, is important. The current government started in 2023 and will be in office until 2027. During its first few years, they’ve managed to make the lives of poor people even poorer. So yeah, I had to contribute with my own sketched take on the same topic.
