LEGION, 1992

Satan Spawn, the Caco-Daemon is the opening track on Deicide’s 1992 release Legion — still, to this day, my favourite album from the band.

I was so influenced by the album that I actually chose Caco as one of the many alternative tags I used during the ’90s.

Here’s a soft/bubble letter piece titled Satan Spawn that I painted together with Dams way back in 1993. Naturally, since this piece is over 30 years old, the original sketch — if it ever existed (I doubt it) — is long gone. So I redrew the outlines based on the original, just so you can see the actual letterforms.
