Maybe it’s the nostalgia factor, sure — but who can deny it? They produced a ton of songs that are still recognized all over the world. And since I borrowed the name of this art project from them, including an ABBA sketch or two was only natural. Besides, the letters are cool and a bit of a challenge, since there are only two different ones to work with.

Even though I consider myself a metalhead, ABBA is something people of my age couldn’t really avoid — even if they wanted to. There’s just something about Sweden that seems to consistently produce catchy tunes and talented artists. And honestly, I think ABBA’s music is great for sketching — it’s easygoing and works both as background music and proper listening music.
